If in doubt, who should I contact?

The UPTIME unit where you enrolled has a trained team ready to answer any questions. Contact reception by phone, WhatsApp, or in person.

Teen students can take classes at a time agreed upon with their parents, as stipulated in the contract or later, when classes are formed. Students are grouped according to their level and availability.

The Day-by-Day UPTIME methodology requires 15 minutes of the Teen student's day for lesson preparation, which they can organize according to their routine. In addition to preparation, there are two 80-minute lessons per week.

All courses offered by UPTIME include proprietary teaching materials, specific to each audience and objective. Our Development & Research Department is responsible for creating and updating all necessary materials, always providing students with the best experience. All materials are purchased and picked up at the unit itself.

In each block of four chapters, the student has a written and oral assessment so that we can measure their individualized development. This allows us to verify the student's good progress or check which topics they had doubts about, assisting them in reinforcing the content in special review classes.

UPTIME units work with specialized and trained teachers within the methodology and content of each course, which may vary depending on each teacher's work schedule. Normally, we have the same teacher throughout the semester, accompanying the class, and there may be a change for the next semester. Having different teachers will give the student different and enriching experiences, preparing them for the real world.

The UPTIME Teens program consists of three complete 12-month courses, one building upon the other. Students can choose to take all three courses, continuing their studies and progressing further, potentially reaching level B2 in communication according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

All UPTIME courses offer a certificate of completion at the end, attesting that the student has indeed reached the end. The Teens program, as it consists of three courses, offers three certificate options, one for each course.



Students who indicate they already have a foundation in English must take a placement test, during which the academic coordination team will assess this foundation and determine the most suitable course and level for them to enter. This way, we make the course more engaging for students with prior knowledge, providing them with challenges and opportunities for growth, while also safeguarding the other students who need the initial content to build a foundation in their English.

College students cannot proceed without having reviewed the content of all stages. They have the option to cancel already confirmed classes up to 24 hours in advance, using the contact to set a new date for their next class. If there is any problem on the day of the class and they are absent, the class must be rescheduled as soon as the school and the student are available.

Teens students have more opportunities to see the content from all stages, having time to assimilate what is practiced. Therefore, if they miss a class, they still have the opportunity to see the content and practice. If they miss classes for a longer period, a special make-up class can be scheduled.

All assessments throughout the course have an average grade, both in the written and oral parts. A grade above the average is considered a passing grade, while a grade below is considered a failing grade. Regardless of the grade, any student who demonstrates difficulty with a topic will be able to review it again, reinforcing their knowledge before moving on.
